Atlanta Braves Roster Report 2009-09-04

--CF Nate McLouth, on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring, was 0-for-2 Thursday and was hit by a pitch in a rehab game with Class A Rome (Ga.). He is expected to rejoin the big-league squad Friday.

--3B Chipper Jones was back in the lineup after sitting out a start to work on his swing. He had a .500 average against Marlins RHP Ricky Nolasco coming in, and he drove in a run in the fifth inning.

--RHP Tim Hudson reported slightly sore hips but otherwise only normal spring-training-type soreness after his season debut Tuesday, his first appearance in a year after Tommy John surgery. He is scheduled to start again Sunday against the Reds.
